RSMonials is a free Joomla Component Once problem that this lovely open source component has is the lack of option disabling the link back to the author, "Powered by RS Web Solutions" to be exact. In is good to give credit to the author, but it is not nice of the author to publish a component that has encoded back link. In my opinion, if you publish an open source software keep the user(s) in mind and not yourself... will have far more success. Anyways, the problem is that we have this annoying link back to the author that ruines our beautiful template design (see screenshot below). It creates so much wasted space, 3 paragraphs of nothing...
Unfortunately solution is not that simple, to fix this you will have to edit one of the files and remove 1 line of code. The are several ways you can edit the file edit it on the server, edit locally and ftp, etc... The simplest is to use eXtplorer component You have to be very careful, not to mess anything up. Make a backup before you start editing things.
